Linux System Administration
Targeted Audience: System administrators who are new to Linux/UNIX environment.
Recommended duration: 40 hours to 280 hours (based on required modules)
This training program is comprised of a set of customizable training modules for System Administrators to get acquainted on Linux platform and perform routine administration activities on Linux. After successful completion of all training modules (as described below) and thorough understanding of the concepts along with sufficient practice on commands, utilities and configuration, participants can safely apply for RHCE and LPI certification tests.

- Basic Linux network services [ 8 hours ]
- Linux firewall and proxy server configuration [ 16 hours ]
- DNS configuration on Linux [ 16 hours ]
- NFS, NIS and OpenLDAP configuration [ 8 hours ]
- Samba installation and configuration [ 8 hours ]
- Configuring email services on Linux [ 16 hours ]
- Configuring the LAMP stack on Linux [ 8 hours ]
- Linux performance optimization techniques [ 16 hours ]
- Security tips and techniques [ 8 hours ]

Infact, the training modules and its flow are designed to be in-depth, and highly advanced than the skill-set requirements for RHCE and LPI certifications. Nevertheless, these modules have been personally designed by me, based on many years of my training experience and constant evolution - to ensure that the participants gain maximum exposure on Linux thus becoming productive and highly competent system administrators in their company.
